Transferring a Domain

You have two options for transferring your domain:

1. If you would like one of our client support representatives to facilitate in the transfer process, please contact them at support@smartflexsolutions or 866-441-7235. They will need to know what service you used to register your domain name and what the log-in name and password are for that service.

2. If you would like to facilitate the transfer of your domain on your own please complete the following:

1. Change the DNS name servers to: NS1.SMARTFLEXSOLUTIONS.com and NS2.SMARTFLEXSOLUTIONS.com
NOTE: If you currently use an email address through this domain be sure to download your emails and save anything that is important BEFORE you change the name servers.
2. Unlock the domain
3. Make sure that an email address you check regularly is set in the ADMIN contact field. This is where the email to approve the transfer will be sent.
4. If you have a domain privacy protection service, such as Domains By Proxy, please cancel this service as it will prevent the transfer from going through.
5. Obtain the Authorization Code for transfer and email it to support@smartflexsolutions.com.

Note: If you recently purchased your domain, there is a 60 day waiting period before the domain can be transferred.
